Conventures was called upon by the Town of Lexington to manage the production of the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington on April 19, 2025.
While the community had united committees to plan and produce dozens of events throughout the month of April, Conventures was retained two months before the event to deliver the commemoration’s three largest events—the reenactment of the battle, the rededication of the Battle Green, and the Patriots’ Day Parade. Each event drew tens of thousands of visitors, a global cast of media, and detailed transportation and logistical plans.
Conventures quickly assessed the areas of principle concern and began coordination with the key municipal partners—Lexington Public Works, Lexington Fire, and Lexington Police—to ensure that the crowds, the media, the emergency access vehicles, and more could all access the historic event locations during the key moments.
Over the course of a few months, Conventures seamlessly collaborated with the municipal agencies, volunteer committees, and others groups to lay out clear production timelines, define areas of responsibility, and deliver a memorable trio of events that will be remembered for decades to come.
More than 40,000 guests visited Lexington over the course of April 19, and a well-executed bussing program, parking plan, and thoughtful schedule of events was able to accommodate all visitors comfortably.
