This was the busiest July the city has seen in years! In addition to hosting one of the largest events in Boston’s history, we celebrated our region’s revolutionary history and raised funds to support our local community. Let’s take a look back at July 2026!
Boston Harborfest
From July 2–4, we hosted the 44th Boston Harborfest presented by Citizens Bank, one of the largest Fourth of July celebrations in the country! Residents and visitors alike enjoyed live music, mural painting, fireworks, educational programs, and more across the city. Our team was actively involved in the pre-event planning, and it was a pleasure to see so many smiling faces throughout the weekend. We were especially excited to welcome Citizens into the mix as the presenting sponsor of this year’s event.
Quincy Maritime Festival
Boston Harborfest wasn’t the only party happening during Independence Weekend! Conventures reunited with Mayor Tom Koch and the City of Quincy to host the Maritime Festival at Marina Bay from July 3–5. The family-friendly event honored Quincy’s revolutionary history, and featured a ceremonial cake cutting, live music, roving acts, and more. Our team helped with the pre-event logistics and provided on-site management of the three-day celebration enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors.
Boston Children’s Corporate Cup
Conventures was excited to once again produce the Boston Children’s Corporate Cup! This annual event united 65 local businesses for a day of friendly competition at the Harvard Athletics Complex. Participants enjoyed field day challenges, and a post-event reception where Team HarbourVest was crowned the 2026 champion. By the end of the event, Boston Children’s fundraised $1.04 million to fuel lifesaving care and build healthy futures for the children who need it most.

Sail Boston
After nine long years, Tall Ships returned to the city’s waterfront from July 11–16 for Sail Boston 2026! With dozens of Tall Ships visiting from around the world, the event attracted millions of attendees and was a culminating event for a beautiful summer in Boston. Visitors had the opportunity to experience ship tours, waterfront entertainment, different cultures, and other maritime traditions.
On both land and sea, our team was in the thick of the action every single day. It was an honor to celebrate Boston’s rich maritime heritage while bringing together our community for an unforgettable experience.
