Our spring event season is fully underway, and April kept us on our toes! In addition to the Bank of America Boston Marathon Expo, we managed several other large-scale events throughout the busy month. Here’s a look back at April 2026!
Bank of America Boston Marathon Expo
From April 17–19, we partnered with the Boston Athletic Association to host the Bank of America Boston Marathon Expo at the Hynes Convention Center. Spanning more than 17,000 square feet, this annual expo attracts more than 100,000 attendees to kick off Marathon Weekend in Boston. Runners and their guests were able to purchase official Adidas Boston Marathon merchandise, enjoy photo ops, watch live programming with running superstars, and more. We worked closely with the B.A.A. to manage the exhibitor locations, the guest flow through the building, and the overall venue management with a team of professionals.
2026 Patriots’ Day Reenactment and Parade
In anticipation of America’s 250th birthday in July, Conventures partnered with the Town of Lexington, MA for its 2026 Patriots’ Day Reenactment and Parade on April 18! The celebration commemorated the Battle of Lexington, the first major battle in the American Revolution which took place 251 years ago, and featured an early-morning live battle reenactment, parade, and day-long celebration. Our team provided crowd control, AV coordination, and overall event management to ensure the entire day went smoothly for participants and spectators.

2026 HTM Annual Awards Dinner
We joined forces with the UMass Isenberg School of Management’s Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management on April 13 to produce its 2026 HTM Annual Awards Dinner! Located at the Seaport Omni Boston Hotel, this event recognized and promoted the HTM Department, its graduates, and showcased the ever-growing hospitality industry in New England.
Instead of our President Dusty Rhodes helping manage the event, we were excited to celebrate her as she was one of the night’s five honorees, receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award!
Please join us in wishing Dusty a huge congratulations!
