Let’s showcase some sites for events, programming, and outings in Massachusetts that we love.

We adore how much history is embedded into the landscape of Greater Boston, and nowhere is that more evident than at Mount Auburn Cemetery. Nestled between Cambridge and Watertown, Mount Auburn is a thriving arboretum that has surprisingly versatile event spaces for groups and companies to consider. Through some recent work at the Cemetery, we’ve learned about the many events that occur here every month. In fact, it welcomes 200,000 annual visitors to its beautiful and sprawling grounds. Designed to inspire the general public while honoring our past, the grounds feature art, stunning architecture, a botanical garden, and much more.

Though primarily known as a burial ground, this National Historic Landmark offers multiple indoor, outdoor, and waterfront venues and can accommodate up to 270 guests combined at its historical Bigelow Chapel and Story Chapel. Mount Auburn also has unique offerings such as a live pipe organ performance and optional livestreaming. Best of all, its Winter Solstice exhibit runs from December 5–21, and washes the architecture and landscape with amazing arrays of moving light mosaics.

One of our favorite aspects of Greater Boston is its history, and we love how Mount Auburn combines the past with modern day elegance. We’re excited to see this beautiful space become a go-to destination for visitors and locals alike to celebrate every life milestone.
