Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation’s “Race for Research”

mmrfDuring the past 8 years, the relationship between the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and Conventures has expanded the 5K Boston-based Race for Research to a four city program that includes New Canaan, CT, Philadelphia, PA and Washington, DC.

Response:

Conventures has designed new systems for the challenging multiple-city race calendar and works closely with volunteer committees at each event site. In addition, Conventures coordinates all of the logistical planning, site development, product solicitation, permitting, collateral development and stage management for each race venue and works with the participant teams to insure an enjoyable experience.

Select Results:

  • Conventures' involvement has resulted in increasing the number of participants in each of the four cities.
  • Conventures has assisted the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in branding the Race for Research along the East Coast, resulting in increased public education and awareness.
  • The MMRF has raised more than $100 million among its many programs and funds more than 70 research institutions.
